Introducing Our New 2-in-1 Wand Scanner

Let’s say you want to scan magazines without ripping the pages out. Or textbooks that you plan to sell back at the end of the semester. Or even fabric swatches while you’re shopping for new curtains.

A flatbed scanner won’t do the trick. They never seem to pick up words or images close to the binding.  Plus they’re not very mobile. And a sheetfed scanner is smaller, but requires you feed individual pages through, and it might struggle with those fabric samples.

The good news is, we’ve got the answer. We’re excited to bring a brand new, 2-in-1 wand/ADF scanner to you. The MobileScan Pro 100 is a wand scanner, which means anything you drag it over is scanned. It’s perfect for hard-to-scan objects like textbooks or stuff that just won’t seem to lay flat. It’s completely wireless – it runs on battery power, independent of a computer, and it comes with a 4GB microSD card. So when you’re ready to transfer your scans to your computer, just plug it in. The included custom version of PageManager 9 will do the rest, importing the images and grouping them automatically.

But the MobileScan Pro 100 has a unique feature that other wand scanners don’t. If you’re back at your desk, just snap it into the automatic document feeding dock. The dock can also run on battery power, or can run on USB power when plugged into the computer. It’s a quick way to consistently scan documents without the need for pressing any buttons.

It really is the best of both worlds.

The MobileScan Pro 100 can scan at up to 900 DPI in full-color. Or you can choose black & white capture for simple text. And if you’re worried about security, the microSD card can be encrypted for super-safe files.

The best news is that it’s available for pre-order right now. So check it out. We’ll be posting on the many uses of the MobileScan Pro 100 in the weeks to come, so stay tuned.
